We've been here at Gandhi Nagar for a good while now. Road No 9 A is usually pretty busy, especially since we’re so close to 32 Dukan. Most people know the spot. We mostly deal with batteries of all kinds. It gets hot in the shop during the summer months, but we just get on with it. When someone comes in with a dead car battery or something for their home power backup, we take a look. It’s not fancy work, just heavy lifting and testing terminals. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with old casings waiting to be picked up. My cousin helps out when it gets really packed. We try to keep things organized but it doesn't always stay that way. People stop by for advice or just to get a quick charge. We have a small bench where we sit when things are quiet. The location G 510 E is easy to find if you know the area. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we’re still here doing the same thing every morning. We open up early because that’s when people realize their vehicle won't start. It’s a lot of manual labor and our hands are usually stained with something, but that's just the nature of the job. We don't have a big front desk or anything, just the counter and the stacks of stock.
