City Dental Hospital

City Dental Hospital is tucked away in Johari Bazaar, specifically at the 5th Crossing on Ghee walo ka Rasta. If you know the bazaar, you know how busy and crowded it gets with all the shoppers and vendors. It is always noisy outside with people shouting and horns honking. Inside the hospital, it is a bit different, though the sounds of the market still leak through the windows. We have been here for quite some time. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, with narrow stairs and high ceilings. I spend my days mostly in the treatment room. The floor is that old-fashioned tile that stays cool even when it is boiling hot outside. We get a lot of walk-ins from the market, people who are already out doing their shopping and realize they need to have something looked at. It is a practical place. We don't have fancy waiting rooms with televisions. Just some sturdy chairs and a place to hang your bag. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on my desk that has gone cold because I got busy. That is just how it goes here. It feels good to be part of the bazaar life, even if it is just fixing teeth while the rest of the world is buying and selling jewelry outside. We just do our bit.
