Chandrakala Architecture

We are based at 111 in Printers Colony, which is right off Tonk Road. It is a convenient location for us because Tonk Road connects to so many parts of the city. Chandrakala Architecture is basically a small team of us working out of this space. The office has a lot of natural light, which helps when we are looking at fine lines on a drawing. We do not have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, if you walk in, you will just see someone at a computer or on the phone. We have been in Printers Colony for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It is a practical place to work. We spend our time figuring out how to make spaces useful for people. We are not trying to be the most famous architects in the world. We just want to do a decent job for the people who hire us. Our desks are usually covered in scales, rulers, and half-empty water bottles. It is a real working environment, not a showroom. Sometimes we get stuck on a design for hours, and other times things just click. We talk to the local builders and try to make sure our plans actually make sense for them. If you are driving down Tonk Road, we are not far from the main stretch. It is a simple setup at number 111, and that is how we like it.
