Chandra Arts

We’ve been at Shop No. 26 in Jai Amey Nagar for a long while now. Most people find us because we’re right opposite Mahaveer Nagar on Tonk Road. It gets pretty busy out there on the main road, but inside the shop, things are usually a bit quieter. We mostly spend our time working on different art pieces and taking orders from folks who drop in. Sometimes it’s a bit cluttered in here because we have a lot of materials stacked up in the corners. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get the work done. You might see a few of us sitting near the entrance when it’s not too hot outside. Tonk Road is a landmark everyone knows around here, so that helps people find the turn into Jai Amey Nagar. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. People usually come by word of mouth or if they live nearby in the colony. We try to keep regular hours but sometimes we’re still here late finishing up a project. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place like Chandra Arts. The fans in here make a lot of noise during the summer months, but they keep us going. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New buildings coming up and more traffic than there used to be. Still, we like being in this spot. It feels like home after all these years.
