If you find yourself on Tonk Road in Jaipur, you’ll likely see us across from Nehru Place. We are Chahat Freight Movers and we’ve been operating right near the Raymond showroom for quite a while now. Jaipur 15 is a busy area, so there is always something happening outside our doors. We spend a lot of time watching the traffic go by while we sort out the freight schedules. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. No big lobby or fancy receptionists, just us and some desks. Moving freight is just about getting things from here to there without too much trouble. Sometimes the heat in Jaipur gets to be a bit much, but we have our fans going and we just keep at it. We know the regulars who come by, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Tonk Road. It’s loud and there is always someone honking, but that’s just Jaipur for you. We don’t try to sound like some massive international firm. We are just a local bunch making sure the loads get moved. Every day has its own set of problems to solve, like a truck breaking down or a delivery being late, but we just handle it as it comes. It’s a living, and it keeps us connected to the city. We don't overcomplicate things. We just take the orders and see them through.
