We are set up in S-23 at Alankar Plaza in Vidhyadhar Nagar. It is a pretty well-known plaza in this area. Our work is mostly about power and infrastructure stuff, which means a lot of technical drawings and looking at plans. The office has a lot of files stacked up on the desks and sometimes it is hard to find a place to put your tea. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people at different sites. Century Infrapower has been operating out of this plaza for a good while. The elevators in the building are a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. It keeps us moving at least. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or things written on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work and deal with the electricity projects we have on our plate. Some days are very quiet and we just do paperwork, and other days it feels like everyone is calling at once. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants, but they don't always look very healthy because we forget to water them. It’s just a normal office with normal people trying to do a good job. We don’t try to pretend to be a huge corporation. We just focus on the projects in front of us and hope that the electricity stays on so we can finish our work.
