C B L Memorial Holy Family Hospital

Our hospital is situated right near the Amba Bari Bridge on Jhotwara Road. The address is 43 Ashok Vihar, and it’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of the city. Being so close to the bridge means there is a constant hum of traffic passing by at all hours of the day and night. The building itself is an older one, but it’s sturdy and has plenty of room for the different wards. We spend a lot of time walking through the corridors, checking on the supplies and making sure the patient rooms are ready. It’s not one of those modern hospitals with glass walls; it’s more traditional with thick walls and high ceilings. The main entrance can be a bit crowded in the mornings when the doctors arrive and the families come to visit. We have a small pharmacy area on the ground floor that stays quite busy. Sometimes the paint is peeling in the corners and the lighting in the back hallways is a bit dim, but we keep the place running. There is a small patch of greenery out front, though the dust from the road usually covers the leaves. Most of our staff have been here for years, so we’re used to the quirks of the building. It’s a local place where we know the shopkeepers nearby and the regular faces from the neighborhood. It’s just a normal hospital doing its daily work.
