Our place is tucked away on Road Number 9 in Bapu Nagar. We go by Bright Metals India. It sounds like a big name, but we are just a group of people working with metal day in and day out. The workshop at F2 F 671 is where everything happens. We have been here for some time now. The street gets a bit cramped when the delivery trucks come in, but we make it work. We handle various types of metal fabrication and supply. It is a lot of heavy lifting and loud noises from the machinery. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We don’t have a lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find someone in the back. We take orders, cut the metal to size, and get it ready. It’s straightforward stuff. We have built up a decent rhythm over the years. Most of our customers are other businesses or builders who need specific parts. We don’t do much talking; we just get the specs and start the machines. Bapu Nagar is a good spot for us because it’s central to a lot of our suppliers. We’ve stayed at this same spot because it fits what we do. It’s not a pretty site, but it’s functional. We just focus on getting the metal pieces out the door correctly and keeping the shop running.
