Bombay Motor Co

Bombay Motor Co has been sitting on M I Road for quite a long time now. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy M I Road gets with all the shops and the tourists walking around. Our place is right in the middle of that whole scene. It’s an old building, which gives it a bit of character, though it means we’re always fixing a leaky pipe or a creaky door. We handle motor-related stuff here every day. The name Bombay Motor Co is painted on the front, though the letters have faded a bit over the years from the sun. Inside, it smells like oil and old metal, which is what you’d expect from a place like this. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Most of the space is taken up by parts and things we are working on. Some people stop in just because they’ve been passing by for years and finally decided to see what’s inside. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back for when we take a break. The noise from the traffic on M I Road is constant, but you stop noticing it after the first hour of work. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It’s a simple way of working, and we’ve stayed here because it just feels right.
