BKMB NIDHI LIMITED

Our shop is number 39 in the Ganesh Nagar Extension. We are right on Kalwar Road in Jhotwara. Jaipur is a big city, but this corner feels like our own little world. We are a Nidhi company, which means we work with our members on their savings. It’s a small operation. We have three desks and a small bench for visitors. We don't have any fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Everything we have is practical. We spend our mornings checking the records from the day before. The traffic on Kalwar Road can be quite loud, so we usually keep the front door half-closed. We aren't corporate people with degrees from big schools. We just know how to handle the paperwork and follow the government rules. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors from Ganesh Nagar. We know which of them likes their tea with extra sugar. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big boss telling us what to do every minute. We just get the work done and go home to our families. It’s a decent life and we are happy to be working in Jhotwara. Sometimes the afternoon gets slow, so we just sit and talk about local things.
