Ashoka Industries

We are out here in the Bindayaka Industrial Area, at F-143 on Road No. 5. If you’ve ever been to this side of Jaipur, you know it’s where all the making and building happens. We’ve got a decent-sized shed where we do all our manufacturing work. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we just keep the big doors open and the fans running. Most of the staff here have been with us for a long time, so we’re more like a group of neighbors than just coworkers. We make industrial parts, and it involves a lot of cutting, welding, and shaping metal. You won’t find any shiny carpets or air-conditioned lobbies here. It’s a practical workspace meant for getting things done. We spend our mornings going over the production schedule and our afternoons making sure everything is loaded onto the trucks properly. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch, but nobody complains much. We just get on with it. We don't do much in the way of advertising because people in the industry around here already know where we are and what we can do. It’s an honest way to make a living. We value our tools and our machines, and we take care of them because they’re what keep us going. That’s basically the long and short of who we are and what we do every day.
