Bhumika International

You can find Bhumika International at No. 278 B/5, Marolia Bhawan in Kantinagar. It’s a bit of a local spot, not a massive skyscraper. We’ve set up our office here to handle all the international trade stuff we do. It’s mostly desks, computers, and files stacked up. We spend our mornings checking time zones and our afternoons chasing up on deliveries. Being in Marolia Bhawan makes it feel more like a community business. We know the neighbors and the guy who delivers the mail. It’s not a sterile corporate environment. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with samples laying around. We don’t really do the whole polished pitch thing. We just tell people what we have and where it needs to go. Trading has its ups and downs with all the regulations and shipping delays, but we manage. We’ve stayed in Kantinagar because it’s a comfortable place to work from. There’s always someone coming or going with a ledger or a box. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to packing. We don’t try to sound bigger than we are. We’re just a trading house trying to keep things moving along steadily every day. It's just a job.
