Bharat Industries

We are based at B-27 in Jamna Nagar, right near Sodala and Ajmer Road. Being so close to the main road means it’s never really quiet here. Bharat Industries is a small operation. We deal with various industrial parts and supplies. The shop is filled with the smell of old paper and metal. We have a very small office space that’s usually piled high with old invoices and samples. There isn't much room for guests, so we usually talk to people standing up or out on the pavement. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time. We know the people at the local shops and we see the same faces every day. It’s a comfortable routine. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy storefront. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there is always something else to do. We spend our days answering the phone and checking the stock. Sometimes we have to go out and find parts that we don't have in the back. It’s just how a small business like this works. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who do everything from cleaning the floor to signing the delivery notes. It’s a simple, busy life and we like it that way. We just try to get the work done and get home to our families without too much fuss. Every morning we open up the shutters and see what the day brings. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us since the beginning. We don't have any big plans to expand or move. This spot works for us.
