Swastik Plyboard Ltd.

We are based at D-8 Kabir Marg in the Bani Park area of Jaipur. Bani Park is a bit more relaxed than the city center, but it still has plenty of activity. Swastik Plyboard has been running from this location for quite some time, and the building has that old Jaipur character to it. Dealing in plyboard means there is always that specific smell of wood and adhesive in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. Our office is on Kabir Marg, and it’s a place where we spend a lot of time talking to vendors and checking on shipments. The walls have some old calendars and charts pinned up to keep track of everything. Rajasthan can get incredibly hot, so we have heavy curtains and fans to keep the workspace manageable during the summer months. It is a family-type atmosphere here, where the staff has mostly stayed the same for years. We don't really do big marketing campaigns; we just rely on the people who have known us for a long time. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We keep piles of samples around so customers can see the different grains and thicknesses of the boards. It’s a simple way of working, focusing on the material and making sure we have enough stock in the warehouse to meet the local demand without any unnecessary complications.
