Balaji Stone Exports

Our yard and office are at G-17 in the Riico Industrial Artea in Deoli. At Balaji Stone Exports, we spend a lot of time outside or in the open sheds. Dealing with stone is heavy work, and everything around here has a thin layer of stone dust on it. It doesn't matter how much we sweep; the dust always comes back. That is just the nature of the business. Deoli is a good area for this kind of work, and there are many of us in the industrial area doing similar things. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning. We have a small room with a fan and some wooden chairs where we talk to suppliers and handle the paperwork. The sound of stone being cut or loaded onto trucks is the soundtrack to our days. It’s a tough job, but there is something satisfying about seeing the raw material go out to different places. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just export stone and try to make sure every load is what the customer asked for. Our team is small, and we all know each other well. We eat our lunch together in the shade when it gets too hot. It is a simple, honest life at G-17, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
