Balaji Silver Crafts

We are located at 102 Hawa Mahal Road. Being on this road means we are right in the heart of things, with the landmark just a short distance away. Our shop is focused on silver crafts. It’s a small space, filled with the tools we use for working on silver. There’s usually someone sitting at a small bench with a tiny hammer or a polishing cloth. The street outside is always noisy with tourists, rickshaws, and people shopping. We don't have a big marketing team; we just put our things in the window and people come in. Sometimes it’s just locals looking for a small gift, and other times it’s people from further away. We spend our days working on different designs. Silver is a nice material to work with, but it takes a lot of patience. The shop can feel a bit cramped when there are more than a few people inside, but that’s just how it is on Hawa Mahal Road. We’ve seen the street change over the years, but our work remains pretty much the same. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors. It’s a simple life. We don’t use any fancy sales pitches. We just show the silver work and if someone likes it, they buy it. It’s about the craft and the daily grind of the shop. We hope to be here for many more years.
