Balaji Baloons

Our shop is called Balaji Baloons and you can find us at New Choice Palace on N S Road. We are in the Sodala area, specifically in Devi Nagar. It is a busy part of Jaipur and there is always a lot going on right outside our door. We do all things related to balloons, like for birthdays and weddings or whatever party someone is having. The shop is usually full of half-blown balloons and bags of different colors. It gets a bit crowded in here when we have a big order to get ready. We’ve been here in Sodala for a few years and most of the locals know they can just walk in and ask for what they need. We don't have a big catalog, we just show people what we have in stock. Sometimes we have to go out to set things up at a venue, so the shop might be closed for an hour or two in the middle of the day. My nephew helps me out with the heavy lifting and the helium tanks. It is a fun business but it can be hard on your hands after a while. We don't use any fancy machines, just simple tools and our own strength. People come to us because they know we are right here in the neighborhood. It’s a messy job sometimes with all the scraps of plastic, but it’s our job.
