Bagra Batteries

We’ve been here at 46 47 New Sanganer Road for a while now. Vishwa Nagar is a busy spot, especially right opposite Devi Nagar where the traffic never seems to quit. Most people come to Bagra Batteries when they're in a bit of a jam. Their car won't start or the inverter at home gave up during a power cut. It’s not a glamorous job, honestly. My hands are usually stained with something, and these batteries are heavy to lift. We just keep a stock of what people need. The shop isn't much to look at, just shelves and a small desk. Sometimes the tea guy from down the street comes by and we sit for a minute. It gets really hot in the summers here, and that’s when everyone realizes their battery is dead. We try to help them out as fast as we can so they can get back on the road. There’s always a lot of noise from the main road, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything. It's just us here every morning opening up the shutters. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners around Vishwa Nagar pretty well by now. If you're looking for us, look for the stack of old batteries outside the door. That's usually the easiest way to find the place. It's just simple work we do every day.
