Our small shop, Ayurved For Health, is up on the second floor of the Gandhi Complex. We are at No. 176 in the Nahari Ka Naka Phase 2 area. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s a quiet space away from the street noise. We keep a variety of herbs, powders, and oils on the shelves. The smell of dried plants and sandalwood is pretty strong when you walk in. We spend our time weighing out portions and packing them into small bags or bottles. It’s a very manual process. We aren't a big pharmacy or anything like that. It's just a few of us who know a bit about these traditional ways of doing things. We have a small counter where we talk to people about what they might need for their health. Most of our regulars are from around the neighborhood or have been coming to Gandhi Complex for years. We don't do much advertising. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the inventory takes a while to arrive from the suppliers, so we have to manage with what's on the shelf. It’s a slow-paced kind of business, which suits us just fine. We just want to provide the things people are looking for and keep going with our daily tasks.
