You can find us at 118, Panjabiyan, right near the Masjid. It’s a busy little spot, and we are right in the heart of things. The name on our door is Awamikhidmat Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited, which is quite a mouthful, but we just go by our work. We aren’t a big company with fancy offices in a city skyscraper. We are just a local operation for the people in this neighborhood. The office is small and filled with the usual stuff like desks, pens, and stacks of paper. We spend most of our time helping the people who live nearby with their small financial needs. It’s all about working together as a group. We don’t have any polished marketing talk to give you. We just explain how things work in plain English. People stop by throughout the day, sometimes just to say hello or ask a quick question about their accounts. We know the area well and we like being near the Masjid because there’s always people around. It’s a practical way to run things. We handle the numbers and the members’ files with care, but we don't make a big show of it. It’s just regular work for regular people in the Panjabiyan area. We’ve been doing this for a bit now and it’s become our daily routine. There is no need for anything fancy when you are just helping your neighbors.
