Authentic Instruments

Our place is B-425 over in the Murlipura Scheme. It’s a residential-style area that has slowly turned into a place for small businesses like ours. Authentic Instruments isn't a huge operation. We have a couple of rooms filled with tools and different instruments we work on. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is a nice change from the main city roads. We have a small sign out front so people don't miss the gate. Inside, it’s mostly just workbenches and a few computers that have seen better days. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or bright lights. We just use what we have to get the work done. The guys here usually wear casual clothes and we don't worry too much about formalities. If someone calls, we answer if we aren't in the middle of a calibration. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with wires and parts scattered about, but we know where everything is. We take our time with the instruments because that’s what the job requires. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the main table. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get busy when a lot of orders come in at once. Murlipura is a decent place to be based, and we’ve gotten used to the quiet pace of the street. It’s just a regular small business doing its daily tasks in a quiet part of town.
