Asil Industries Ltd.

Out in Kanakpura, things are a bit more spread out. Asil Industries Ltd. is located near the P.O. Meenawala area, and the drive out here can be quite dusty depending on the season. It’s not like being in the middle of a big city. We have a bit more space, but it also means we’re a bit isolated. The factory noise is the main thing you notice when you get here. It’s a constant hum that you eventually stop hearing after a few weeks of working. We don't have a big fancy entrance. It’s just a gate and a small office where we keep the records. Most of our time is spent on the floor, making sure everything is running the way it should. Meenawala is a quiet spot, and sometimes you see goats or cows wandering near the perimeter fence. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have corporate meetings or long presentations. Usually, if there’s a problem, we just walk over and talk about it right there. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the heavy stuff done early in the morning. Asil Industries Ltd. is a place where people know each other’s families and we all just do our jobs. It’s simple and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines going.
