Arvind Traders

Arvind Traders is over at 19A, Meer Ji Ka Bagh. If you know where the Jalupura Police Station is, we are right across from that. It’s a busy spot on Chopasni Road near M.I. Road. Most days it’s pretty loud outside because of the traffic. We’ve been here for a good while now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and some files. Someone usually brings in chai around eleven. Sometimes the fan makes a weird clicking noise but we’re used to it. Dealing with the paperwork is what keeps us busy most of the time. There’s a small tree out front that provides a bit of shade in the afternoons. It gets quite hot in the summer months so we try to keep the windows closed. People walk by all day long on their way to the main road. We know most of the guys running the shops nearby. It’s just how it is around here. Not much changes from week to week. We open up early and head home when the sun starts going down. It’s a steady routine. Sometimes we have to move boxes around to make space for more stuff. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but it’s fine for now. We just focus on getting the work done. The door sticks a little when it rains, so you have to give it a good push. We have an old calendar on the wall from three years ago that nobody ever took down. It's just a regular workplace where we get on with things.
