Arpit Jain

Arpit Jain operates out of Malviya Nagar. This is a busy part of the city, and the office reflects that kind of energy most of the time. It isn't a massive firm with dozens of employees; it’s more of a personal operation where Arpit handles a lot of the work directly. The desk is usually covered in site maps, pens, and a laptop that is constantly plugged in. There is no front desk or formal reception area here. If you come by, you’re basically walking right into the workspace. Malviya Nagar is a good place to be because everything is close by, which makes it easier to visit sites or meet people for a quick coffee to discuss their plans. The work involves a lot of thinking and sketching. It’s about trying to solve problems with space and structure in a way that makes sense for the person living there. Sometimes a design comes together quickly, and other times it takes a lot of staring at a blank page. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with corporate talk. It’s just about being practical and getting the job done. The atmosphere is relaxed but busy. There’s always a project on the go and a phone call to return. It’s a very standard, local setup where the focus is on the actual work rather than the appearance of the office. It keeps us busy and we like it that way.
