Aone Architects Pvt Ltd

We are based over at Kartarpura in Shree Kalyan Nagar 37. Even though the name Aone Architects Pvt Ltd sounds official, we are a pretty relaxed group. Our office is tucked away in the neighborhood, which is nice because it’s not as chaotic as the main roads. We spend most of our time on the drawing boards or visiting local sites to see how the masonry is coming along. It’s a lot of small details that make up the day—checking the height of a ceiling or making sure the windows are aligned properly. We don’t really go for the high-end corporate look in our office. It’s mostly just desks covered in rolls of tracing paper and calculators. We’ve lived and worked around Kartarpura for quite a while, so we know the local building habits. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and trying to translate what a homeowner wants into something that can actually be built. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the layout right, but that’s just part of the process. We don't have any big slogans or anything; we just focus on getting the drawings done so the builders can get to work. It’s a messy, interesting job, and we’re happy to be doing it here in Kalyan Nagar. There’s always someone stopping by with a new idea or a problem to solve, and that keeps our days fairly busy and keeps us on our toes.
