Anu Aluminium & Interiors

You can find us over on Hawa Sadak 8, not too far from the Civil Line Circle near Bais Godam. This area gets a lot of traffic, so there is always noise from the street coming into the workshop. We spend most of our time cutting aluminium sections and fitting glass. It is dusty work and there is always the sound of saws running in the background. We do a lot of windows, doors, and those partitions you see in offices. It isn't some high-end design studio with coffee machines. It is a workshop where we get our hands dirty. We measure things twice and hope we don't have to cut them again. People come to us when they are renovating their houses or setting up a new shop nearby. We have stacks of metal frames leaning against the walls and scraps of glass in the corners. It is a bit crowded, but we know where every tool is kept. Our team has been doing this for a long time, so we don't need much instruction anymore. We just get the measurements and get to work. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside on sites, especially when the monsoon hits, but we push through it. We aren't big on talking ourselves up. We just like to finish a job and see that the doors slide smoothly and the windows don't rattle. It is just what we do here every day at Bais Godam.
