Altaf Batteries

We have been here at 2 Jalupura Purohitji Ka Bagh for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right on the Link Road, which gets pretty busy during the afternoon. My father started this shop and now I handle things mostly. It is a small place, but we keep it organized with all the different batteries lined up on the shelves. Sometimes the heat in Jaipur makes the work tough, but we just keep going. People stop by when their car won't start or when their home inverter acts up. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just us, a few tools, and rows of heavy batteries. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the road traffic. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for customers. Usually, someone from the nearby shops comes over to chat. It’s not a complicated life. We show up early, open the shutter, and wait for the first person who needs help with their power. Sometimes the Link Road traffic is so loud we have to shout to be heard. We don't mind it much. It has been our routine for years. Every day is pretty much the same, just checking voltages and carrying heavy boxes back and forth. It’s honest work and it keeps the family going. We don’t bother with big advertisements because our neighbors know we are here.
