Aksh Tours & Travels

Our place is at D-18 in Shastri Nagar here in Jaipur. We are really close to the D B Hospital, so if you are in that area, you’ve probably seen our sign. It is just a small office where we handle all the tours and travel stuff. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about where they want to go. My brother and I usually run the desk and we keep a few cars ready for trips. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because of the hospital traffic, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps or talking to drivers on the phone. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby or someone who has used us before and told their friends. We don’t do much advertising. We just open up in the morning, have some tea from the stall around the corner, and start the day. There is always some paperwork to do with the bookings and the car logs. It’s a busy life but it is what we know. We try to be straightforward with people about the costs and how long the drive will take. It’s just a regular local business and we like being part of this neighborhood.
