Diamond Plaster Ltd.

We spend a lot of time up here on the 7th floor of Anchor Mall. It is a bit of a trek when the elevators are slow, but you get used to it after a while. Most days involve a lot of phone calls about plaster and gypsum boards. People come in and out of the office on Ajmer Road all day long. The sun hits the windows pretty hard in the afternoon, so we keep the blinds down mostly. It isn't a fancy place, just some desks and samples of the work we do. My desk is usually covered in dust from the site visits, but that is just how it goes in this trade. Sometimes we sit around and talk about the projects over tea. The traffic outside is always loud. You can hear the horns even from up here. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. It’s a good location because everyone knows where the mall is. We keep the ledger books in the corner and try to stay on top of the orders coming in. Plastering is messy work, and we are right in the middle of it every day. Most of us have been working together for years. We know who likes their coffee with extra sugar. It's just a normal office where we try to get things sorted for the builders who need our materials. Nothing too complicated, just a lot of bags and buckets and paperwork.
