Ajanta Ltd

Our place is out on Ajmer Road near the 200Feet Byepass. It’s a wide-open area with a lot of wind coming off the road. Being near the bypass means there is a constant hum of engines and tires on asphalt. The building is large and we have a lot of space inside, though most of it is filled with crates and assembly lines. We get here early when the sky is still grey and start the machines up one by one. I’ve worked here for a few years now and I know the rhythm of the place by heart. We have a canteen where we all sit together for lunch, usually complaining about the commute or the heat. The floors are polished but they get scuffed up pretty quickly by all the boots. We make sure things are packed correctly before they head out on the big trucks parked in the lot. It is a lot of routine, checking the same things over and over to make sure everything is right. The sun sets right behind the building which is a nice view if you happen to be outside at the right time. We are just a bunch of regular people making sure the work gets done before the shift ends. The address is easy to find because we are right near that big junction where the traffic always piles up during the rush hours.
