Both rural and urban locality is filled with potential and with our inner voice which says ‘unveiling limitless potential of artisans’ beats in our heart every moment for the brotherhood we share in common. So PolkaKart has put out its research into forth into this pity condition of our striving people who haven't managed their pockets to fill our hearty desires. We have been maintaining a true relation with artisans and want them to reach their potential customers and buyers through our platform and we are the origin from this same mentality. We will proudly fill the world of both the artisans and their art lovers with huge delight because we think that making someone happy is a greatest gift to god and if we are successful on this propaganda we are much more contented. When we started this project we keenly observed that Indian handicrafts carry a great traditional and historical values. This art is famous all over the world. But due to the interference of Middle Man and lack of proper guidance these values are getting extinct. Artists are running and moving towards metropolitan cities in search of a stable livelihood. If this continues then there is a very much possibility that these values and art can get perished.We all know this fact that every artist needs some appreciation to bring out its passion towards promotion and creation of Art and it is a deep human psychology that if a person does not get a proper appreciation either financially or publically for its work the zeal inside him to manifest his art comes to an end. To keep this zeal alive Polkakart was originated with the view of providing a national and an international platform to these craftsmen. Having gained experience in multi-national organizations and understanding the way businesses operates we thought that now it is time to payback the artisans and craftsman who are between us from a very long time giving their services to the Society whether in rural or in urban areas.
