Agarwal Gautam & Co

The office for Agarwal Gautam & Co is located at 214, Sansar Chandra Road. We are right in the City Center area, which means it stays quite busy from morning until the evening. Most days, the noise from the street comes right up to the windows, but you get used to it after a while. The building has been here for many years, and we have been working out of this space for quite some time now. Our desks are mostly covered in files and paper stacks that seem to grow every week. We usually start the day with a cup of tea from the stall downstairs. It’s a simple setup here, nothing fancy at all. The stairs can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them, but it's good exercise. We know the neighbors in the other units, and everyone mostly keeps to themselves. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just wait or talk while the fans are off. People usually find us by looking for the sign near the entrance of the City Center block. It is a very central spot, so getting lunch or finding a rickshaw is never a problem. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s just how things go here on Sansar Chandra Road.
