We are set up over at Plot No 35 on Parasrampuria Street in Jaipur. It’s a busy area and the street can get a bit crowded with traffic sometimes. Adbhutah Kisaan Bahikhata was started because we saw how much trouble people have with keeping their books and records straight. Mostly we deal with the paperwork side of things for the farming community. It isn't the most exciting job, sitting at a desk and going through numbers, but it’s what needs doing. The office is tucked away in the street and we’ve been here for a bit now. We use simple tools and try to keep everything organized so nothing gets lost. Jaipur 302012 is where we call home. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. People just walk in when they have a question about their accounts or need help with their records. It’s just us here, usually drinking some tea and working through the piles of folders. The summer heat in Jaipur can make the office a bit stuffy, but we have a couple of fans going. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We just want to help folks keep their bahikhata in order so they don't have headaches later on. It’s a lot of writing and checking, but it’s honest work. Most days are quiet unless it’s the end of a cycle when everyone realizes they haven't written anything down for months or lost their receipts.
