Liyana

Liyana is located at No. 458, Shop No. 8 in the Bees Dukan area, right near the PNB ATM in Adarsh Nagar. It’s a small space, but we’ve made it work for us over the years. I remember when we first moved in, the walls were a different color and the floor was just bare concrete. Now it’s full of character and clothes. We sell mostly ladies' wear and some small accessories. I pick things out that I would personally wear myself. I’m not into those big fashion trends that disappear in a week. I like stuff that actually lasts. The shop can get a bit crowded when three or four people are inside at once. We all just kind of squeeze past each other near the racks. I usually have some music playing softly on a small speaker in the background. It helps pass the time when it’s just me here waiting for customers. I do all the cleaning myself every morning before we open the shutters. It’s important to keep the dust off the shelves. The ATM next door brings in a lot of people who just stumble upon us while they are out. We get a lot of people who are just looking, and that's totally fine with me. I like the neighborhood feel of Adarsh Nagar. You see the same faces every single day. My daughter helps me with the internet stuff sometimes.
