We are located over in Laxmi Colony, right across from those big Khandelwal Towers. If you’ve ever walked around Naya Khera, you probably know the spot. The studio isn’t huge but it fits what we need for the portraits and the gear we carry to events. Photography is one of those things where you’re always lugging heavy bags around. We spend half our time in the studio and the other half out at weddings or functions around Ambabari. It gets pretty hectic when it’s wedding season. You’re up early and home late, then you spend hours looking at a computer screen. The office here has a lot of samples on the walls because people like to see physical prints instead of just looking at a phone screen. We have a couple of lights that always seem to need new bulbs at the wrong time and a backroom full of tripods and old backdrops. It’s a bit messy sometimes especially when we are rushing to get an order ready for a client. We try to keep things simple. No big speeches or complicated packages. People just want good photos of their families or their big day and we try to provide that. It’s a nice way to make a living, even if the cameras are heavy and the hours are long. Most of our work comes from people just seeing our sign.
