We’ve been over here at Bairathi House on Dinanath Street for a good while now. It's a busy part of Chandpole Bazar, so there is always someone coming in with questions about their taxes or some bank forms they don't quite get. We mostly just sit at the desks and go through the numbers one by one. It isn't anything fancy, just a small office with enough chairs for whoever stops by. Jaipur is a big place but this neighborhood feels smaller once you get to know the folks around. Usually, people just need help getting their accounts straight or making sure the government paperwork is filed right. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and old files. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power flickers, but we get the work done eventually. It’s mostly just us and the calculators. There are a few tea stalls nearby that we visit when things get a bit too quiet in the afternoon. People find us because they know we're here on the 181B side of the street. It’s just a regular job for us, helping people keep their finances from getting too messy. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door and a lot of paper stacks inside. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy through the week. If you’re walking through the bazaar and see the Dinanath Street sign, that's where we spend our days.
