We’ve been here in the Hi-Ioof Riico Industrial Area in Mansarovar for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, mostly full of trucks and people moving crates around all day. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle all the paperwork and phone calls that come with running an export-import business. Most mornings start early, usually before the sun gets too hot over the industrial roofs. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure things are packed right. The fans in the warehouse never seem to stop humming, which is good because it gets pretty stuffy in the afternoons. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, but we just wait it out or find something else to do that doesn't need a computer. People drop by with deliveries or just to have a quick word about a shipment. It’s loud out on the street with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The tea shop around the corner is where most of us end up during the break to get away from the noise for a few minutes. That’s pretty much how life goes for us here at A.B. Impex Pvt. Ltd. day after day.
