Rishabh Paper Bag Industry

If you know Jaipur, you know how busy the 22 Godown area gets during the day. Our place is in Kartarpura, tucked away at F-29. It is a bit of a squeeze getting the big paper rolls inside the doors. We have been at it for a few years now. Most of the day is spent listening to the folding machines. It is a repetitive sound, but you get used to it after a while. The glue smell is pretty strong in the mornings when we first start up. We make all sorts of bags. Some are for grocery stores and some are for small boutiques in the city. We are not some giant corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a handful of us making sure the handles do not break when someone carries them. The KK Tower is nearby, so there is always traffic and people moving about. Sometimes the delivery vans get stuck in the narrow lanes around the industrial area. We just keep our heads down and work. The floor is always covered in paper scraps. We sweep up at the end of every day, but by next morning, it is the same again. It is not a fancy place at all. We have a small stove for making chai in the corner. That is where most of our decisions happen, honestly. Over a hot cup of tea. It is a practical business. We do not have a website that looks like a movie. We just answer the phone and write it down.
