Sacred Heart College Of Dance, Sahnewal

Down on Majara Road in Sahnewal, you’ll find our dance college. We’ve been set up here in the Ludhiana district for some time now. People from around Punjab know where we are, though it’s a quiet enough spot most days. We spend a lot of time in the studios just practicing and going through the steps. There isn't a lot of polish to how we run things, we just show up and get to work. The building itself is straightforward. We handle the classes as they come and try to make sure the students understand what they're supposed to be doing. It’s not a corporate setup at all. Usually, you’ll hear music coming from the windows if you’re walking by on the road. We deal with the local community mostly. Everything is pretty laid back, but we do keep a schedule so things don't get too messy. It gets dusty outside sometimes when the weather changes, but inside it’s all about the movement. We don't use big words or have some grand vision, we just like the way things feel when the rhythm is right. Our address is easy to find if you’re heading out toward the edge of town. Most of us grew up around here or nearby, so it feels like home. It’s just a place where people come to learn and move without any extra drama.
