Raju Sweets & Fast Food

Raju Sweets & Fast Food is tucked away in Sanehwal Wing C, over in Manajinagar. We do a bit of everything here, from the sweet stuff to the quick snacks people want for lunch. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic because we are switching between different types of cooking. One minute we are frying something salty and the next we are dipping something in syrup. It gets quite loud with the fans running and the oil popping. The seating area is just a few tables and chairs that don't quite match. We don't mind, and the customers don't seem to mind either. They just want their food while it’s hot. We see a lot of workers from the nearby offices coming in during their breaks. Manajinagar is a busy spot, so we try to move fast. Sometimes we get the orders a bit mixed up when it’s really crowded, but we fix it quick. We aren't trying to be a fancy restaurant. It’s just a place to get a decent meal or a box of sweets to take home. The windows get foggy in the winter from all the steam. We spend most of our time cleaning up and making sure we have enough supplies for the next day. It’s hard work, but we like being part of the community here in Wing C. No big speeches or anything, we just stay busy with the cooking. Sometimes the smell of the fryers is all you notice when you walk in.
