Brij Bashi Lal & Co

We are located out on the road that connects Jagraon and Mysore. It is a long stretch with several different businesses, and ours is the one filled with paint cans and hardware. This is an old-school type of business that has been around for a long time. We have been operating as Brij Bashi Lal & Co for many years now. The inside of the shop is filled with wooden shelves that have been there since we first opened. You can see they are slightly bowed from the weight of all the nails, bolts, and heavy tools we store on them. We carry many different types of paint, mostly the kind people use for their homes or for painting metal gates. It is usually pretty quiet here, except for the sound of the big trucks passing by outside. We spend most of our day helping folks find the right size of screw or a specific color of paint they need. We do not have any big neon signs or flashy advertisements. Most people just know we are here on this road when they need something. We keep a large ledger on the counter to track what we sell and what we need to order. The place gets a bit dusty because of the location, but that is normal for a hardware store. We do not worry about the shop looking perfect. As long as we have the right stock and the person gets what they came for, we are satisfied. It is a slow and steady life.
