Out here in Village Gullapeta, things start very early. Our farm is at H. No - 3-29, and that’s where the birds are kept. Every morning before the sun is even up, we are out there checking on the poultry and making sure everything is ready for the day. It’s a lot of physical work, cleaning and feeding and making sure the water is fresh. The air smells like the countryside, and it’s a lot different from being in the city. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Our workspace is the farm itself. We deal with local markets and people from the mandal who come by to see what we have. It’s a simple life, focused on the animals and the rhythm of the seasons. Sometimes the weather is too hot or it rains too much, and that makes things difficult, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’ve lived in Gullapeta for a long time, and the farm has been our main thing for years. It’s a family-run sort of place, so everyone chips in when there’s a lot to do. We don’t use any fancy technology, just the stuff that has worked for us for a long time. People know where H. No - 3-29 is, and they know we are usually there from dawn until dusk. It’s just how we live and work, focusing on the basics and making sure the animals are healthy and the farm stays running.
