Sri Venkateshwara Poultry Farm

Our poultry farm is located at house number 2-71 in the village of Peddapur, out in the Metpally area. Life on a farm like this starts very early, usually before the sun is even up and the air is still cool. We have to check on the birds and make sure everything is clean and they have enough feed for the day. It’s a lot of physical work, walking back and forth through the sheds and keeping an eye on how the birds are doing. The village is a quiet place compared to the big cities, but the farm itself can get quite loud with all the chickens clucking. We spend a lot of time outside in the dirt and the sun, so we don't worry much about keeping our clothes clean or looking polished. There’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a water pipe or a wooden fence. We’ve been doing this in Peddapur for a good while, and we’re part of the local landscape here. People from the nearby areas know where to find us when they need eggs or birds. It’s a simple life, tied to the seasons and the needs of the animals. We don't have a big office or anything fancy; just the farm buildings and the house where we live. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially in the summer heat, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the farm running smoothly day after day without any fuss.
