Damera Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of a house, H.NO.7-88, right in Damera village. We are part of the Elkathurthy Mandal in Karimnagar. If you’ve been to this part of Telangana, you know it’s a lot of green fields and hardworking people. Our office is basically just a room where we store our records and meet up to talk about the crops. Big city corporations aren't what we are; we’re just farmers from the village who thought it made sense to team up. If the weather is nice, we might meet under a tree, but otherwise, we stay inside to avoid the heat or rain. People are always stopping by to ask about seed prices or the next meeting time. It gets a bit disorganized sometimes with papers everywhere and everyone talking at once. We focus mostly on what’s happening in our own fields. Living in the 505476-pin code area means we know our neighbors and the specific problems we face with the soil and water here. Flashy signs or receptionists aren't our style. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us sitting there with a cup of tea. Making sure the farmers in Damera have a way to get their produce to market without too much trouble is why we're here. It's a slow process but we are getting there one day at a time. We don't have fancy brochures, just our hands and the land we work on.
