Royal Marble

We've been here on Ss Mall Road for quite some time now. Most people find us pretty easily once they get to the Naya Chola area. We handle all kinds of marble slabs. It’s heavy work and honestly, it can be quite tiring, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our shop is positioned right on the Link Road, so there are always trucks coming and going at odd hours. Sometimes the stone dust gets everywhere, even on our tea mugs, but that's just part of working with stone. We keep a pretty decent stock of different colors and patterns. When someone needs their floor or kitchen done, they usually just wander in and ask to see what’s currently in the yard. We don't bother with a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just a simple desk, a few chairs, and some smaller samples lying around. My cousin helps out with the heavy lifting and loading when things get busy. It's a very straightforward way of doing business. We show folks what we have in the back, tell them the square foot price, and then we figure out how to get it to their site. The traffic on this part of Link Road can be a real headache in the late afternoon, but being right on the main path helps people find us without calling for directions ten times. Most people who come here live nearby. They’ve seen us here for years. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Usually, the sight of marble stacked up high outside is enough. It’s just honest, everyday work.
