You can find us over at Sk Sels & Services in Village Adawal. We are right on the Jagdalpur Jaypore Road, which is a pretty long stretch of road if you are driving it. The post office for Bastar is nearby, so we get people stopping in while they are out doing their errands. We are also quite close to St. Xavier High School. You can usually hear the kids when they are letting out for the day. Being in the Bastar district means things move at a bit of a slower pace than the big cities, which suits us just fine. We handle sales and we do repairs or services too. The shop is a practical place. We have tools laying out and parts on the shelves. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working space. If you’re coming from Jagdalpur, just keep an eye out after you pass the school. We see a lot of travelers on the road, but most of our regulars are folks from the village or nearby. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we are here by the road. It’s a simple life running a shop in Adawal. We just try to be helpful when someone’s gear breaks down or they need something new for their home or farm.
