S. K.Bricks

You can find us on Jeypore Road in Nayapara. We are tucked in near the bus stand and right by Jhankar Talkies, which is where most people tell visitors to look for us. It is a busy area with a lot of foot traffic and people coming off the buses all day. We have been here for a good bit of time, just making bricks and selling them to whoever stops by. The yard is usually full of red bricks piled high. It gets a bit noisy with the talkies nearby and the buses pulling in, but we are used to it by now. We do not have any big advertisements or anything like that. Most of our business comes from people just walking past or seeing the piles from the road. We spend our days loading trucks and checking the quality of the clay. It is messy work, and your hands are always dirty, but it feels right to be making something useful. Sometimes the weather is against us, but we manage. If you are looking for S. K.Bricks, just head towards the cinema and you will see us. We are usually out there moving stuff around or talking to the drivers. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just want to make sure we have enough stock for when people need it for their houses or walls. It is a lot of lifting, but it is what we know how to do.
