Our base of operations is at 43/2, Hazara Colony in Uttamapur. It’s near Balikuda, and we share the space with Rasmi Ranjan Nayak. We focus on real estate and construction. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to make a living building and selling properties. The colony is a quiet place to work from. We spend a lot of time out in the field looking at different sites. The roads around Balikuda can get pretty muddy during the monsoon, so we spend a lot of time cleaning our boots. We don't have any big marketing campaigns. Most of our clients are local folks who know someone we’ve worked for before. We just talk to people plainly about what they need. It’s a lot of paperwork and back-and-forth with the local authorities, which can be tiring. But we’ve been doing it long enough that we know the ropes. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We just like building things and seeing people move into their new homes. We don't use any fancy titles or have big board meetings. We just sit around the table and figure out what needs to be done for the day. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. Sometimes we have to deal with delays or issues at the sites, but that's just part of the real estate game. We don't let it get to us too much. We just keep working until the job is done.
