We've been out here in Osakana for quite a while now. Most people know the way via Machhagoan. It’s a quiet part of Jagatsinghpur, but we keep busy at the plant. We make different kinds of polymer stuff. It’s not fancy work, just everyday items people need for building or farming. My uncle started things up and now a bunch of us work here together. The roads get a bit muddy during the rainy season, which makes shipping things out a bit slow sometimes. We don't have a big office with glass windows. It’s more of a practical setup with machines and stacks of materials. Dealing with plastics means we have to watch the heat and the molds carefully. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing things instead of running them. That’s just how it goes in a factory. We try to keep things organized but there’s always dust from the yard. People around here know where to find us if they need pipes or plastic sheets. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it long enough that we know the tricks of the trade. We just show up, get the orders done, and go home to our families in the village. It isn't a huge operation but it keeps the lights on for a lot of local families around Osakana. We are just regular people working hard in the Orissa heat. It's nothing special, but it's our living.
