Paradeep Port

Working around Paradeep Port is something else. Our spot is at Qr.No.-Mb/265 in the Mabhuban area of Jagatsinghpur. If you live around here, you know how the air smells like the sea and industrial work. It’s a dedicated lifestyle, living and working so close to the port. Our day starts early because the port never really sleeps. Ships come in, cargo moves out, and we are just one small part of that whole giant machine. The office is really just a room where we keep track of things. It’s not a shiny corporate building; it’s a quarter in a housing colony. We spend a lot of time drinking chai and discussing what needs to happen next. Jagatsinghpur has its own pace, and while the port is fast, the life around it is quite simple. We have our regulars who drop by to chat or check on paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes everything muddy, but that’s just life in Orissa. We don’t have any big speeches to make. We are just here doing the job that needs doing every single day. The walls are a bit dusty and the furniture is old, but it works for us. Living in Mabhuban means you’re always part of the port community, whether you’re on the clock or not. It’s just how things are.
